This is an event that happens every Wednesday, so if you have overindulged on New Year’s Eve, you don’t have to miss out. Why not kick off the new year to some great fun! For all you foodies out there, this event is a must! You can savor food from around the world, with some gourmet delights. There are some exciting products on sale too, and you may even be able to listen to a little music as well. The market is outside, and this means that you can take your furry best friend along with you! Your best friend will enjoy getting to spend some quality time with you. Do you have singing chops? Well then, you need to get to the open mic night at the Legacy Brewing Co.! If you chose to sing, you would be backed up by some musicians during your performance, so no need for acapella unless you are into that. Open mic night takes place every Tuesday. You can also try the fantastic tacos and get yourself some craft beer while you’re there. For all of you surfing fans out there, this is a must-see event. The WSA Western Surfing Championship Tour is coming to town. This is one of the oldest surfing competitions in the country and has been going since 1961. You have to go and see it for yourself. The competition aims to raise awareness of the sport and to show you how much fun surfing can be. Not only that, you will be able to watch some pros in action. It is an all-day event starting at 6 am up until 5:30 pm. The best thing is that this event is entirely free of charge, and all the family, including those pups, can get to the beach to watch the event unfold.

If you are looking for something to do after the surfing championship, maybe you could check out Bagbyfest. It celebrates good beers, wines, cocktails, and spirits, and will make you feel as if you are in the winter markets of Northern Italy! All you need to do though is get yourself a ticket and visit Oceanside’s very own Bagby Beer Company compound. It will be a celebration of good food, drink, and the community.
