Dr. Nguyen is originally from Northern California and was born and raised in San Jose. After earning her Bachelors of Sciences in Health Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz, she went on to pursue her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and finished her clinical studies at the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a one-year internship at a specialty and emergency hospital in Los Angeles County, she took a break from emergency medicine and entered into general practice for the next several years. The adrenaline rush of the emergency room floor was too captivating to resist and she soon found her way back to Emergency and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Nguyen resides in Orange County with her husband Rob, her senior dog Enzo, and her toddler daughter Quynh. She enjoys exploring local hiking trails, camping, cooking ethnic foods, and traveling with her family.
